The single-mode fiber collimator integrates a fiber pigtail and a focusing lens through precise alignment. This design enables it to convert the output from the fiber into a parallel Gaussian beam or couple external parallel light into the fiber with high efficiency. Additionally, it can function independently to create a desired spot size at a specific location by adjusting the divergence angle. Collimators are widely used in scenarios requiring precise beam shaping, such as spectroscopy, interferometry, and optical testing systems.
