Product Description:

The use of air fryers to make kiln chicken is not only easy to operate, but also to enjoy the delicious taste of traditional kiln roasting. Here are the steps for cooking chicken in an air fryer using kiln chicken powder:

Ingredients:

  • Chicken: 1 (about 1 kg, preferably a free-range or yellow chicken)
  • Cave Chicken Seasoning Mix: 1 packet
  • Scallions: As needed
  • Ginger: As needed
  • Garlic: As needed
  • Cooking wine: As needed
  • Vegetable oil: As needed
  • Salt: As needed (if the cave chicken seasoning mix does not contain salt, additional salt may be required)

Steps:

  1. Prepare the Chicken:

    • Clean the chicken thoroughly, remove the internal organs, and pat it dry with paper towels.
  2. Marinate the Chicken:

    • In a large bowl, mix the cave chicken seasoning with cooking wine, scallions, ginger, and garlic until well combined.
    • Place the chicken in the bowl and make sure to coat it evenly with the seasoning mixture, both inside and out. Marinate for at least 30 minutes; the longer, the better the flavor.
  3. Preheat the Air Fryer:

    • Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
  4. Place the Chicken:

    • Put the marinated chicken into the air fryer, trying to keep it flat. If there’s not enough space, you can bend the joints of the chicken legs to fit it into the fryer.
  5. Cook the Chicken:

    • During cooking, turn the chicken over to ensure even heating.
  6. Check for Doneness:

    • Poke the thickest part of the chicken with a toothpick or a small knife. If the juice that comes out is clear, the chicken is fully cooked.

    • Take out the cooked chicken and let it cool slightly before cutting or tearing it into pieces.
  8. Serve:
