Carbon Steel Galvanized Steel A325 Square Head Metal Bolt GR2 GR5
193 B7 Zinc Black
1,Description:
Carbon steel is an alloy of iron and carbon with a carbon content
of approximately 0.02% to 2.1% by weight. The carbon content
significantly affects the mechanical properties of the steel, such
as hardness, strength and ductility.Carbon steels are further
classified according to their carbon content, ranging from low
carbon to high carbon steels.
Properties of Carbon Steels
Mechanical Properties: Carbon steel has excellent tensile and yield
strength for applications requiring high load carrying capacity. Its
ductility or ability to deform without breaking allows it to be
easily molded and formed into a variety of parts and assemblies.
Abrasion Resistance: Carbon steel has excellent abrasion
resistance, allowing it to maintain its shape and integrity under
repeated frictional forces. This is especially beneficial for
applications involving moving parts or assemblies that are subject
to abrasion.
Machinability: Carbon steel is highly machinable and can be easily
cut, drilled and formed using a variety of machining
techniques. This machinability makes it a popular choice for
manufacturing complex parts and assemblies.
Corrosion Resistance: While carbon steel is not as corrosion
resistant as stainless steel or other alloys, it can be coated or
treated to enhance its rust and corrosion resistance. This is
achieved through processes such as galvanizing, painting or
applying protective coatings.
Classification of Carbon Steel
Mild Steel: Mild steel, containing less than 0.3% carbon, is the
most common type of carbon steel. It is highly ductile and
malleable, making it easy to form and shape.Mild steel is typically
used in applications that require high toughness and ductility,
such as automotive body panels, wire, and sheet metal.
Medium Carbon Steel: Medium carbon steel ranges from 0.3% to 0.6%
carbon. It provides a good balance of strength and ductility, making
it suitable for applications requiring moderate load carrying
capacity and formability.Medium carbon steel is commonly used in
the manufacture of shafts, axles and gears.
High Carbon Steel: High carbon steel, containing more than 0.6%
carbon, is known for its high hardness and wear resistance. However,
its ductility decreases with increasing carbon content.High carbon
steels are typically used in applications where hardness and wear
resistance are critical, such as cutting tools, knives and springs.
Ultra-High Carbon Steels: Ultra-high carbon steels, with a carbon
content of more than 1.0%, provide excellent hardness and wear
resistance. However, its brittleness limits its use in specialized
applications such as the production of ball bearings and other
precision components.
Bolt: Mechanical part, cylindrical threaded fastener with nut. A
fastener consisting of a head and a screw (a cylinder with external
threads) in two parts, to be fitted with a nut, for fastening two
parts with a through hole. This type of connection is called bolted
connection. If the nut is unscrewed from the bolt, the two parts
can be separated, so the bolt connection is a detachable
connection.
2,Applications:
The application range of bolts is: electronic products, mechanical
products, digital products, power equipment, mechanical and
electrical machinery products. Bolts are also used in ships,
vehicles, hydraulic projects, and even chemical experiments. Bolts
are used in a lot of places anyway. Such as the precision bolts
used in digital products. Miniature bolts for DVDS, cameras,
glasses, clocks, electronics, etc. General bolts for televisions,
electrical products, Musical Instruments, furniture, etc.; For
projects, buildings and Bridges, large bolts and nuts are used;
Transportation equipment, aircraft, trams, cars, etc., are used
with large and small bolts. Bolts have important tasks in industry,
and as long as there is industry on Earth, the function of bolts
will always be important.
Bolts are indispensable in daily life and industrial production and
manufacturing, and bolts are also known as industrial meters. It
can be seen that the use of bolts is wide.
Applications | |||||
car | In high-strength applications such as automotive engines, heavy-duty machinery, and bridge construction, they are preferred for their larger support area and better anti-loosening performance.
mechanical | Mechanical, electronic, automotive, construction and other fields, used to connect various mechanical parts, circuit boards, engines, transmissions, building structures, etc
energy | For the energy industry, brackets and fixtures used to connect
power generation equipment and transmission lines
architectural | In the field of construction engineering, shipbuilding, and petrochemical industry, it is used to connect building structures, improve the navigation safety and stability of ships, and ensure the safety and stability of petrochemical equipment |
3,Specifications:
material | |||||
aluminium | Aluminum has excellent thermal and electrical conductivity. However, aluminum is naturally soft and may produce gelatinous buildup after processing. If not properly operated, it is difficult to cut during processing.
titanium | Edm machining is well suited for titanium because the process can
withstand the viscosity of this alloy and break down lengthy chips.
However, deionized water is needed as a medium to help control the
heat generated during processing.
steel | Steel is a very strong metal, and many manufacturers tend to use wire cutting machines instead of CNC machines for machining complex steel features. However, this material generates a lot of heat, so necessary precautions need to be taken.
brass | Brass has a high tensile strength and is easy to cut by machine. But the cutting speed should be slow because it is a soft metal.
4,Feature Advantage:
Ordinary bolt head is very thick, difficult to deform, if vibration
occurs after good, but also need to re-tighten; The flange with a
thin part, can be slightly deformed, can be locked more firmly.
There is also the fact that if it goes to the hole, the ordinary
bolt can not use the tool, the head of the flange bolt is smaller,
the following flange plate also plays a fastening role, but it can
be used on the special tool to the hole, and the hexagonal bolt is
about the same principle. Another is the flange top flat pad to
use, in the softer, non-wear-resistant material is safer, will not
cause perforation
