Structural Materials
• Standard Structural Materials
The industry's highest specification G235 galvanized steel is used
to ensure a longer cooling tower life. The cooling tower equipment
is a frame structure with higher strength. The 1000 series standard
structure has been tested by an independent third-party vibration
table, with an SDS of 1.4g and a wind resistance of 60psdf. With
regular maintenance and water treatment, the G235 galvanized steel
frame structure, panels and air inlet louvers have a long service
life and meet the requirements of various comfort air conditioning
and industrial applications.
• Stainless steel material (optional)
Type 304 stainless steel structural materials are available.
• No water collection plate structure (optional)
The 1000 series cooling tower can be selected as a water-free
structure, which can be placed directly on a new or existing
concrete pool. This option eliminates the need for a cold water pan
and reduces maintenance costs. When installing multiple units, it
can simplify the requirements for piping and water pumps, and
provide a cost-effective method to replace the water tower. It is a
leading evaporative cooling manufacturer and supplier of water-free
structures.
• Higher earthquake and wind resistance level structure (optional)
Upgraded steel panels and structural parts to meet higher
earthquake and wind resistance requirements. The upgraded 1000
series SDS reaches 3.10g and the wind resistance level reaches
82psf. All upgraded equipment has been tested on the vibration
table of the test bench to ensure that it can continue to operate
in earthquake conditions.
• Standard galvanized steel panels and air inlet louvers
The sturdy frame structure is equipped with galvanized steel panels
and air inlet louvers to enhance the equipment's corrosion
resistance and extend its service life.
• Stainless steel/FRP panels and air inlet louvers (optional)
A variety of panels and air inlet louvers are available, including
stainless steel and FRP.
Product introduction
①Structural system
- Tower metal components: The tower body is made of 304 stainless steel or Baosteel hot-dip
galvanized steel plate, which is light in weight and has good
rigidity. All material indicators meet relevant national standards.
The parts are highly interchangeable, easy to assemble, and have
good stability. They can operate normally for a long time in harsh
environments.
- Tower surface components: high-quality steel, rust-free for a long time, beautiful
appearance, integrated with modern architecture.
②Heat exchange system
- Flame retardant heat dissipation filler:
1) It is made of high-quality modified PVC sheets that are
resistant to ultraviolet rays and chemical corrosion through fully
automatic vacuum forming, and its performance indicators meet the
requirements of NDG88-89 "Technical Regulations for Plastic
Water-Spraying Fillers".
2) The filler has good flame retardant properties. The oxygen index
of the filler is tested to be 38, which is much higher than the
national standard requirement of ≥28.
3) The water-spraying filler is designed in an inverted "V" shape
and is assembled in blocks inside the tower, which avoids
compression deformation of the filler due to fouling. The assembled
filler has the dual functions of heat dissipation and water
collection. The large-particle spacing structure ensures that the
filler is not blocked, which not only reduces wind resistance but
also reduces the chance of biological derivation.
4) The large "honeycomb" structure design has a diversion effect
and has a good uniform air distribution effect, which improves and
stabilizes the heat exchange intensity of water vapor. The precise
positioning and equal spacing combination facilitates the formation
of a large area of flowing water film with the water flowing
through the surface, thereby promoting water vapor exchange.
- Special water collection structure: Made of high-quality PVC material, it is the leading one in the
domestic industry. It can effectively separate the water vapor in
the hot and humid air and return it to the tower, greatly reducing
the loss of floating water and the amount of make-up water. The
floating water loss rate of LKN series cooling tower is less than
0.001%.
- Variable diameter graded nozzle: The watering system uses the nozzle produced by introducing new
technology from the United States as the main component. The nozzle
is made of high-quality modified P.P. injection molding, has no
moving parts inside, and is corrosion-resistant and
aging-resistant. It has low energy consumption during operation,
and the design of inner circle and outer square is not easy to be
blocked, does not need to be cleaned, and reduces the workload of
maintenance.
③Drive system
- Fan: It is a low-speed space-distorted forward-inclined aluminum alloy
cooling tower fan. It has the advantages of low noise, large air
volume, high efficiency, low power consumption and stable
operation.
- Motor: A fully enclosed, self-cooling, low-noise cooling tower motor is
used. Protection level IP44, insulation level B, 380 (V) /34/50
(HZ). Small size, light weight, vertical installation, simple
positioning, good starting performance, reliable operation, and
convenient maintenance. The motor shaft waterproof rubber ring,
junction box waterproof rubber pad, and special drainage holes on
the mounting seat designed for hot and humid environments ensure
that the motor is not soaked and runs without damage for a long
time.
- Motor frame: adopts international design concept, positioned once on the tower
steel structure frame, with few parts, easy installation, good
rigidity, small vibration, high stability, not affected by glass
fiber aging, and not easy to damage transmission parts.
- Reducer: Equipped with high-precision imported bearings, three-layer safety
oil seals, good waterproof performance, to prevent water vapor from
corroding the bearings. Disc-shaped steel seat support and cast
iron plate pulley design, compact structure, with static balance
check, stable operation, low noise. Special inverted installation,
easy maintenance, noise and life are better than similar products,
reducer design with maintenance nozzle, easy daily maintenance.
- Belt: We use Japanese high-efficiency and strong V-belt, which is made
of excellent polymerized thermoplastic elastic material. It is
wear-resistant, oil-resistant, water-resistant, and
aging-resistant, has good flexural performance, is not easy to
elongate, has good running stability, and has a long service life.
④Additional system
- Air duct: The special streamlined air inlet and precise blade air duct gap
allow the air flow to enter the air duct smoothly, avoiding the
generation of vortex and reducing the energy consumption of the
fan. The air duct is equipped with a diffusion silencer, which
reduces the wind speed at the air outlet, reduces kinetic energy
loss, saves energy, reduces the reflux of humid and hot air, and
reduces noise. The air duct adopts a modular design, which is easy
to assemble.
- Water replenishment: The water replenishment ball valve is installed on the inclined
bottom basin, which is convenient for adjusting the water
replenishment and observing the water level in the bottom basin.
The inclined bottom basin design is conducive to the cleaning and
drainage of the bottom basin.
