Mode Conditioning Fiber Optic Patch Cable is a specially designed fiber optic jumper mainly used to solve the problems caused by the propagation of different modes of optical signals in optical fibers, especially in high-speed network systems. It is commonly used for connecting single-mode optical fibers and multi-mode optical fibers. This mode conditioning fiber optic patch cable is terminated with MTRJ connector on one end, and on the other end terminated with a multimode LC connector and a singlemode LC connector. And mode conditioning fiber optic patch cables are used specifically in Gigabit Ethernet 1000BASE-LX/LH applications where the objective is deploying new high-speed 1000BASE-LX routers, switches, or transceivers within existing multimode system backbones.
