Harvester machines for harvesting microgreens :
The main conveyor allows the transport of trays and rafts of 600mm width to a cutting blade (adjustable cutting height). Once the crop is cut at the right height, the second conveyor transports it to put it directly in the box.
Table equipped with swivel wheels with brakes to move on flat ground, ideally a concrete area. Harvesting machine can be handled by two operators to move the harvesting machine as close as possible to the bins and crops. Storage area to put harvesting boxes or to put trays of harvested crops.

- Sprouts are germinated with water (no soil) and have a harvest window of 4-6 days. The sprout is harvested with the seed still attached; they often become a breeding ground for some nasty bacteria. Because of this, more food safety regulations are in place for sprout production.
- Growers harvest microgreens by removing them from the root and seed, making them less susceptible to waterborne bacterial contamination.
