Basic Principle:
- Capacitive touch technology relies on the electrical charge that the human body naturally possesses. When a person touches the membrane, it changes the capacitance at that specific point.
Signal Processing:
- The detected changes are processed by a controller, which interprets the location and nature of the touch (e.g., single tap, swipe, multi-touch) and translates it into instructions for the device.
Detection:
- The system uses sensors to detect changes in capacitance. When a finger touches the screen, it creates a disturbance in the electric field, which is measured by the sensors.
