Woven 2" x 4" non-climbable fencing makes a safe and secure fence for both emus and ostrich. Strong 10, 12½ and 14 gauge steel wires (depending on style) are treated2 for maximum rust and corrosion protection. The heavier wires used on the top and bottom edges give emu and ostrich fence additional strength. Stiff "square" knots, formed by a third piece of wire woven around each intersection, hold horizontal and vertical wires securely. The mesh is flexible enough to allow for ease of erection over uneven land. Woven knots are rust-resistant and will not hold water. The knots are smooth, protecting both animals and people from injury. This 2" x 4" mesh woven non-climbable fence has an attractive appearance and a long usable lifetime.
Two different corrosion resistant finishes are available:
ZA - Zinc Aluminum - 95% Zinc, 5% Aluminum - lasts four to six
times longer than standard Class 1 galvanized coating.
ZA plus Black paint - black paint gives protection superior to
Class 3 galvanized coating and an attractive appearance that blends
into the background.
