Dove prism is a rotator of the image.When light enters the Dove prism, theimage is reversed 180 degrees.
Dove prism uses critical Angle principle to realize internal total reflection, so itsfield of view Angle is limited. Coated Doway prisms are mainly used in imagingsystems by plating aluminum reflection film on the reflection surface andantireflection film on the incident surface.
