When the soil is rich in nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium, calcium, magnesium and sulfur, sometimes the shortage of one or several micronutrients may become the limiting factor for the continuous increase of agricultural production. The determination and application of micronutrients in soil are very important in high yield agricultural areas. Micronutrient fertilizer refers to a kind of fertilizer containing one or more compounds of the crop nutrients boron, copper, iron, manganese, zinc and molybdenum, and the content can be indicated. This nutrient element is as important to the crop growth process as other nutrient elements, but the amount is very small.


In recent years, lignosulfonate microfertilizer has been paid more attention because of its low production cost and slow release effect.


Adding ferrous sulfate or zinc sulfate, copper sulfate, manganese sulfate into lignosulfonate solution, stirring dissolution, filter out the insoluble matter, and obtain the corresponding lignosulfonate chelating trace element liquid fertilizer. All kinds of lignosulfonate microfertilizer are recommended for drip irrigation or foliar fertilization, with non-plant toxicity, application safety, fertilizer effect is equivalent to 2~3 times inorganic microfertilizer. Lignosulfonate microfertilizer can also be concentrated into dry powder mixed into granular fertilizer, or on the surface of major granular fertilizer spraying lignosulfonate microfertilizer.


After application on acidic soil, the content of residual ammonium nitrogen in soil was much higher than that in control soil, indicating that lignosulfonate chelated micro-fertilizer could also reduce the loss of fertilizer nitrogen. It was also found that the degree of soil acidification was low, the soil salinity decreased, the available phosphorus, available potassium and organic matter were increased to a certain extent, and the soil fertility was enhanced, which was conducive to the sustainable development of agricultural ecology.
