PTFE Hose For transporting highly corrosive media at high temperatures
1. Introduction
Polytetrafluoroethylene hose and stainless steel metal hose have similar functions, fine appearance and organization, no mechanical impurities, high strength, excellent chemical stability, corrosion resistance, sealing, self-lubricating, non viscous, electrical insulation and excellent anti-aging ability. They can be used for a long time at -60~250 ℃, and have reliable and excellent corrosion resistance. They are used to transport strong corrosive media under high temperature.
PTFE hoses have the ability to flexibly bend due to special processing methods, changing the previous characteristics of rigid pipelines. They can be connected to graphite, ceramic, or glass pipelines with lower mechanical connections. They can be used for feeding and discharging pipes of tankers, storage tanks, containers, or reactors. They can be used for pipeline misalignment of connections or to compensate for pipeline displacements and size changes caused by climate or other reasons. They can also be used to eliminate high-frequency mechanical vibrations. In special occasions, they can be used as tubular reactors or heat exchangers.
2. Application
Polytetrafluoroethylene hoses are widely used in industries such as atomic energy, national defense, aerospace, electronics, electrical, chemical, mechanical, instrumentation, construction, textile, metal surface treatment, pharmaceuticals, medical, textile, food, metallurgy and smelting.
