1. Introduction:

Y-type strainers are essential filtration devices in pipeline systems for conveying media.They are typically installed at the inlet of pressure reducing and relief valves, water level valves, or other inlet of main equipment to remove impurities from the medium, thereby protecting valves and equipment.Y-type strainers feature advanced structure, low resistance, and convenient sewage discharge and others.Suitable media include water, oil, and gas.Generally, the mesh size ranges from 18 to 30 for water, 10 to 100 for gas, and 100 to 480 for oil.The basket filter mainly consists of a connecting tube, a main pipe, a filter basket, flanges, flange covers, and fasteners. When liquid passes through the main pipe and enters the filter basket, solid impurity particles are trapped inside the filter basket. Meanwhile, clean fluid passes through the filter basket and exits through the outlet of the filter.
