The Recycled Refractory High Temperature Magnesia Brick
The magnesia content of magnesia bricks is 90%-98%. The main
products are dead-burned magnesia bricks, middle-grade magnesia
bricks, high-purity magnesia bricks, fused magnesia bricks, and
alkaline refractories with magnesia as the main crystal phase.
Magnesia bricks have high refractoriness. Sintered magnesia bricks
use brick-making magnesia as raw materials, after crushing,
batching, kneading, and molding, they are fired at a high
temperature of 1550 to 1600°C. The firing temperature of
high-purity products is above 1750°C. Unburned magnesia bricks are
made by adding appropriate chemical binders to magnesia, after
mixing, molding, and drying. Generally, it can be divided into two
categories: sintered magnesia bricks (also called fired magnesia
bricks) and chemically bonded magnesia bricks (also called unfired
magnesia bricks). Magnesia bricks with high purity and high firing
temperature are called direct bonded magnesia bricks due to direct
contact with periclase crystal grains; bricks made of fused
magnesia as raw materials are called fused combined magnesia
