silicon brick brand 1650, and the safety belt, decomposition belt
or cooling belt temperature is lower, the choice of brand 1600;The

bricks increases the thermal conductivity and reduces the thermal
expansion coefficient.Thus, the thermal shock resistance of high
alumina brick can be improved remarkably.
SiC is oxidized to form SiO2 and CO, and SiO2 reacts with Al2O3 to
form mullite.Both of these reactions are accompanied by a large
increase in volume.The reaction product mullite also has good high
temperature properties.Therefore, the appropriate addition of
silicon carbide is helpful to compensate the reburning shrinkage of
refractory bricks, improve the softening temperature under load and
creep resistance.
