Provide rotational and propulsion power: The mud motor utilizes the
fluid power of the liquid to transmit force, achieving the
functions of rotational driving and mud discharge. By converting
hydraulic energy into mechanical energy, the mud motor can transmit
power to the drill bit to drive drilling operations.
Structure and working principle: The mud motor is mainly composed
of rotating chambers and other components. When the mud or liquid
on the drill pipe passes through the rotating chamber of the mud
motor, the liquid is subjected to a certain fluid dynamic force,
which drives the operation of the motor. Specifically, after the
mud enters the mud motor, it forms a screw shape in the rotating
chamber, thereby achieving the functions of rotational driving and
mud discharge.
Mud motor is also called downhole motor ,used for well drilling, Horizontal directional drilling (HDD)
