Product Description
The protection function of lithium batteries is usually completed by a protection circuit board and current device (such as PTC).
The protection board is composed of electronic circuits that can accurately monitor the voltage of the battery unit and charge and discharge circuit in an environment from -40°C to +85°C.
Current, timely control the on and off of the current loop; PTC can prevent serious damage to the battery in high temperature environments. Ordinary lithium battery protection boards usually include control IC, MOS switches, resistors, capacitors, and auxiliary equipment FUSE, PTC, NTC, ID, memory, etc.
Among them, the control IC controls the MOS switch to be turned on under all normal conditions to achieve the following purposes:
Make the battery and external circuit conductive. When the battery voltage or loop current exceeds the specified value, it will immediately control the MOS switch to close to protect the safety of the battery.

Different string number selections can be achieved by changing part

8S: Connect the "8S" position with a 1K resistor;
The "10S" position is left blank.
9S: Leave the "8S" position blank;
The "10S" position is left blank.
10S: Connect the "10S" position with a 1K resistor;
The "8S" position is left blank.
Wiring precautions:
1. Installing the protective board requires a certain amount of
technical electronic knowledge.
2. When wiring, first connect the B- wire at the soldering pad
position to the total negative terminal of the battery (the B- wire
should be soldered to a short and thick wire) and solder the wired
terminal to the battery pack first, and then insert the protective
plate.
3. The connection between the battery terminal B- and the
protection board terminal B- should be short and thick, otherwise
it will cause the protection board to charge and discharge in
advance and malfunction.
4. You need to use thick wires when wiring P+/P-. Wires that are too thin and too long will burn the board!
