activated carbon. Specifically, the five-layer belt dryer and
multi-layer belt dryer dedicated to granular activated carbon can
be used for drying granular activated carbon.
Working principle and application scope of belt dryer:
The belt dryer is mainly composed of air inlet unit, exhaust unit,
circulating air unit, mesh belt, steam pipeline and condensation
discharge pipeline system, dehumidification system, feeder,
transmission mechanism and other components. The material is evenly
laid on the mesh belt, which is dragged by the transmission device
to move in the dryer, and the hot air passes through the material
layer to complete the heat and mass transfer process.. This
equipment is suitable for drying powdered, granular, cylindrical
and spherical activated carbon, with the characteristics of fast
drying speed, high evaporation intensity and good product quality.
Characteristics of granular activated carbon and its drying
requirements:
Granular activated carbon is usually made of high-quality

carbonization and activation. It has the characteristics of

mechanical strength. During the drying process, the drying

air, which can effectively remove moisture and improve drying
uniformity and thermal efficiency.
