3 . Conveying Shims with A Vibratory Bowl Feeder :
A vibratory bowl feeder is a type of automated equipment often used in industrial production lines to transport parts in a directional sequence to a specified location.
A Japanese electronic equipment manufacturer needed to install
automated equipment on a production line to transport a variety of
shims. Because the shims were small and varied in shape, manual
sequencing was time-consuming and prone to error, so the company
customized its automated feeding equipment, vibratory bowl feeders,
at our company.
The customer wanted a vibratory bowl feeder that could handle
different shim sizes and materials and ensure that the shims were
transported accurately to the appropriate locations. To meet the
customer's needs, the engineers designed multiple output paths to
enable the vibrating bowl feeder to handle different shim sizes at
the same time, and installed PLCs and sensors on the vibratory bowl
feeder to ensure that the shims are delivered accurately.
