Cooling capability of water-cooled condenser:
It is decided by the ambient temperature. The ambient temperature is higher, the condensing temperature is higher. In general, when using water-cooled condenser, the condensing temperature is about 5~7℃ higher than ambient temperature.
The condensing temperature limit of general refrigeration system: (20℃ ~ 55℃)
Within normal circumstances, the area whose ambient temperature exceeds 42℃ usually is not suggested using air-cooled condenser. So whether choosing water-cooled condenser or not, we should affirm the ambient temperature at first.
When we design water-cooled ice machine, we need customers to offer the data about the highest dry-bulb temperature of local environment. When ambient temperature exceeds 50℃, water-cooled condenser can’t be used because cooling tower is easy to be destroyed by high temperature. The cooling tower must be used in the case of sun protection.

FOCUSUN invented the first automatic sized Tube-Ice Machine and containerized ice machine. Prior to this industry changing event, ice products were originally made in block form. Ingenious FOCUSUN engineers designed the unique Tube- Ice Machine specifically to freeze ice automatically in vertical tubes, momentarily thaw ice from the tubes, and then cut it into short cylinders with a hole in the center. The hole is formed during the formation of the ice as a result of the falling film of water freezing inside the vertical tubes.
Ice Making Principle of tube ice making machine:
As shown, when the refrigeration system begins operating normally, the water in the tank below is transported from the water outlet to the water inlet of upper water tank by the water pump. After the water goes across the distributive pipe, it downwardly flows along the wall of the heat exchange tube. The water then begins a heat exchange with the refrigerant outside heat exchange pipe, which lowers the temperature. Some of the water is formed into tube ice, while the water which does not become ice returns to the low water tank. The water continues circulating so that the ice gets thick, and the hole of tube ice also becomes smaller and smaller.
After a period of time, water stops circulating and the refrigeration system changes into ice cutting mode. The ice cutting framework then begins to operate. The surface of the heat exchange pipe consists of refrigerant hot gas with high-pressure. The hot gas begins a heat exchange with the tube ice in the pipe wall. Hot gas makes contact between the tube ice and the wall of heat exchange, thawing the ice so that it looses adhesive force. The ice then drops into an ice cutting framework because of gravitational force and finally is cut into many pieces of tube ice.
