Water-resistant 2-144 cores GYFTY singlemode outdoor duct fiber optic cable
Description
In the architecture of this fiber optic cable, the delicate optical fibers find protection within a flexible yet rob-
ust environment. Housed within a loose tube crafted from a high-strength plastic, these fibers remain secure.
To safeguard against moisture, the tubes are filled with a specialized water-resistant compound, ensuring the
integrity of the optical transmission even in challenging conditions. Acting as the cable's spine, a Fiber Reinf-
orced Plastic (FRP) core strengthens without metallic interference. Carefully stranded around this core, the
tubes and fillers compactly gather, forming a resilient circular core. Additional fortification against water infiltr-
ation is provided by wrapping the cable core with water-blocking tape. Finally, the cable is encased in a durable
polyethylene (PE) sheath, providing a final layer of defense against external elements, completing a structure
engineered for reliable data transmission amidst diverse environmental challenges.
Application
1 Adopted to Outdoor Distribution: This fiber optic cable's design is well-suited for outdoor distribution purposes.
Its protective layers and water-resistant features enable it to withstand varying weather conditions and enviro
nmental factors, ensuring reliable data transmission even in outdoor settings.
2 Adopted to Trunk Power Transmission System: The cable's robust construction makes it suitable for trunk power
transmission systems. Its strength, resilience, and capacity to handle high-power applications effectively position
it as an efficient choice for transmitting power across distances within a larger network.
3 Access Network and Local Network in High Electromagnetic Interfering Places: In environments where electrom-
agnetic interference is prevalent, such as high-interference areas, this cable serves as an excellent choice for both
access & local networks. Its design minimizes susceptibility to electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable & uni-
nterrupted data transmission in locations where such interference might otherwise disrupt communication networks.
Characteristic
1 Robust Mechanical Strength and Temperature Stability: It maintains reliable functionality across diverse
temperature ranges, showcasing impressive mechanical resilience.
2 Hydrolysis-Resistant High-Strength Loose Tube: Its durable loose tube boasts high strength and resilience
against hydrolysis, ensuring prolonged performance even in moisture-prone conditions.
3 Critical Fiber Protection via Specialized Tube Filling Compound: The use of a specialized filling compound
within the tube serves as a crucial layer of protection, safeguarding the enclosed fibers effectively.
4 Balanced Crush Resistance and Flexibility: It combines crush resistance with flexibility, enabling the cable
to withstand external pressure while maintaining its flexibility for diverse installation scenarios.
5 Enhanced Protection from External Factors with the Loose Tube Filling Compound: The filling compound
within the loose tube reinforces the cable's defense against environmental elements, contributing to its
overall durability and reliability.
