What is a gear?
Helical gear reducer gears are usually made of low carbon alloy
steel and are case hardened to improve wear resistance.
Gear teeth are inclined to both sides, and there are two directions
of transmission: forward and reverse.

along the helical surface, and does not undergo periodic contact
