Working principle
Brazing the stainless steel plates together eliminates the need for
sealing gaskets and thick frame plates. As well as holding the
plates together at the contact points, the brazing material seals
the package. Baode's brazed heat exchangers are brazedat all
contact points, ensuring optimal heat transfer efficiency and
pressure resistance. The plates are designed to achievelongest
possible lifetimes. Since virtually all material is used for heat
transfer, the brazed plate heat exchanger is very compactin size
and has a low weight and a low hold-up volume. The bphe (brazed
plate heat exchanger ) consists of thin corrugatedstainless steel
plates which are vacuum brazed together using copper as the brazing
material. Copper brazed units can be used for numerous of
applications. For food applications and applications involving
aggressive fluids, nickel brazed units are requested.
The internal structure of plate heat exchanger is composed of plate
group and shell.
1. Plate group: The core part of the plate heat exchanger is a
plate group, which is composed of a series of metal plates parallel
to the shell. Each plate of the panel group has a sealed edge and
an open edge. There is a certain gap between the plates, forming a
heat transfer channel.
2. Shell: The shell is the shell of the surrounding plate group,
which has structural components such as a deflector, an inlet and
outlet pipeline and a liquid distributor, used to guide and
distribute liquid flow
3. Seal: The seal is a part that plays a sealing role at the
interface between the plate group and the shell, and ensures that
the heat medium will not leak by compressing and fixing the plate
group.
In a process, two substances flow through the inlet and outlet of
the plate heat exchanger respectively, and form a heat exchange
between the plate groups, thereby achieving heat transfer. The
liquid enters the housing through the liquid flow control device,
flows into the deflector and then enters each channel separately.
In each channel, the fluid transfers heat to the opposite fluid
during a heat exchange process on the surface of the plate. The
heat is then discharged through the deflector and outlet pipe. This
cycle is repeated to achieve the purpose of heat transfer.
