SRRC certification
SRRC certification is the State Radio Regulatory Commission
certification. According to the "Administrative Regulations on
Imported Radio Transmitting Equipment" and "Administrative
Regulations on the Production of Radio Transmitting Equipment", in
order to strengthen the management of the import and production of
radio transmitting equipment, any radio transmitting equipment
exported to the People's Republic of China, or within the territory
of the People's Republic of China All radio transmitting equipment
produced (including trial production) must hold a "Radio
Transmitting Equipment Model Approval Certificate" issued by the
State Radio Regulation Committee and SRRC after model approval of
its transmitting characteristics.
The model approval code must be marked on the label of the factory
equipment. The testing agency currently recognized by the Radio
Administration Bureau of the Ministry of Information Industry is:
State Radio Monitoring Center (SRMC)
SRRC certified product range:
Mobile communication equipment: 2G/3G base
station/terminal/repeater, etc.;

wifi, BT and data terminal functions.
SAR (Specific Absorption Rate of Electromagnetic Radiation)
detection
SAR definition
SAR concept 1: Introduction of SAR concept: Since various organs of
the human body are lossy media, induced electromagnetic fields will
be generated in the body under the action of external
electromagnetic fields. The induced electromagnetic fields in the
body will generate current, resulting in the absorption and
dissipation of electromagnetic energy. Specific absorption rate SAR
is used to characterize this physical process.
SAR Concept 2: Specific Absorption Rate: Specific Absorption Rate
It is defined as the electromagnetic radiation (irradiation) energy
absorbed by an organism per unit time (s) and unit mass (kg). Its
unit is W/kg.
SAR Concept 3: SAR measurement mechanism:
As can be seen from the definition, SAR evaluation is performed by
measuring field strength distribution or temperature changes.
However, it is difficult to conduct SAR evaluation by measuring
temperature rise, and the error is large. Therefore, electric field
probes are currently commonly used internationally to measure field
strength distribution for SAR evaluation in order to achieve higher
measurement accuracy.
SAR definition: Under the action of external electromagnetic
fields, induced electromagnetic fields will be generated in the
human body. Since various organs of the human body are lossy media,
the electromagnetic field in the body will generate current,
resulting in the absorption and dissipation of electromagnetic
energy. SAR is commonly used in biological dosimetry to
characterize this physical process. The meaning of SAR is the
electromagnetic power absorbed or consumed by unit mass of human
tissue, in W/kg.

Wireless communications EMC
European Union
In the EU market, the "CE" mark is a compulsory certification mark.
Whether it is a product produced by an enterprise within the EU or
a product produced in other countries, if it wants to circulate
freely in the EU market, it must be affixed with the "CE" mark to
indicate that the product Comply with the basic requirements of the
EU's "New Approach to Technical Harmonization and Standardization"
directive. This is a mandatory requirement imposed by EU law on
products.
Radio and communication terminal products, testing and
certification include:
1.Electromagnetic compatibility test EMC
2. Safety test LVD (in the new directive, this test is also
required for RF products with battery input)
3. Conduct radio communication equipment testing (RF testing)
according to European ETSI standards
4. Electrical safety and health protection testing (Health, SAR
assessment)
US FCC certification
FCC certification: FCC (Federal Communication Commission, US
Federal Communications Commission) was established by
COMMUNICATIONACT in 1934 and is an independent agency of the US
government. Communication products and digital products require FCC
approval to enter the US market. The FCC committee investigates and
studies all stages of product safety to find the best way to solve
the problem. At the same time, the FCC also includes the detection
of radio devices and aircraft.
According to the relevant parts of the U.S. Federal Communications
Regulations (CFR Part 47), all electronic products entering the
United States need to undergo electromagnetic compatibility
certification (except for some products specifically stipulated in
relevant provisions). There are three common certification methods:
Certification, DoC, Verification. The certification methods and
procedures for these three products are quite different. The
optional certification methods for different products have relevant
regulations in the FCC. The stringency of its certifications
decreases.
For these three types of certifications, the FCC Committee also has
relevant requirements for each laboratory. Generally speaking,
wireless communication products require FCC ID certification. FCCID
has a strict application process, which will not be explained in
detail here.
