Step One: Product Testing
Energy efficiency testing should be conducted in a qualified
laboratory.
After passing the test according to the corresponding national
energy efficiency standards, our center will issue an energy
efficiency test report. The test report is an important basis for
the energy consumption indicators marked on the product energy
efficiency label. The original report must be submitted to the
Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center for review and filing.
Step 2: Make an energy efficiency label
In order to maintain the seriousness of the labeling system,
facilitate market supervision, and effectively improve consumers'
recognition and cognitive ability of labels, China's energy
efficiency labels have strict unified requirements. The basic
styles of energy efficiency labels, shapes, colors, patterns and
overall layout of various products remain the same, but the sizes
and energy consumption indicators are different. Therefore,
enterprises should produce energy efficiency labels in accordance
with the requirements of corresponding product implementation
rules.
Please click to download the editable energy efficiency label
sample in CorelDRAW format. Open it with CorelDRAW version 11.0 or
above (with Founder font library), and mark the manufacturer's
name, specifications and models, energy efficiency levels and
energy efficiency indicators. Energy efficiency levels and energy
efficiency indicators should be determined based on test reports.
The energy efficiency index should not exceed the value range of
the corresponding energy efficiency grade, and the energy
efficiency index of the sample being tested should meet the value
marked in the energy efficiency label.
The energy efficiency label must be printed on coated paper of 80
grams or above and pasted on an obvious location on the product or
minimum package with self-adhesive adhesive. A logo sample must be
provided for review when filing.
Step 3: Fill in the filing information online
First, you must register as a corporate user on the China Energy
Labeling Network (www.energylabel.gov.cn). Basic company
information must be provided, and registration will be completed
after being reviewed by the administrator (about 3 days).
After successful registration, log in and add product
registration-related information, mainly the information marked on
the energy efficiency label.
For more detailed information, please refer to the "Service Guide"
column on the left side of the homepage of the China Energy
Efficiency Labeling Network.
Step 4: Submit the required text materials for filing
Submit the following text materials to the China Energy Efficiency
Labeling Management Center:
Copy of producer's business license or registration certificate;
Energy efficiency label filing enterprise information form;
Energy efficiency label sample; (see step 2)
Energy efficiency label registration form;
Energy efficiency test report; (see step one)
When it comes to brand licensing or OEM production, you need to
provide:
Brand authorization letter;
Energy efficiency label filing OEM statement;
If the producer is an enterprise registered overseas, the importer
is also one of the responsible parties, so it also needs to
provide:
A copy of the importer’s business license or registration
certificate;
Importer business information form;
Copies of relevant contracts signed between the importer and
overseas producers;
After receiving the written filing materials, the Energy Efficiency
Labeling Management Center will generally give feedback or make
corrections within 10 working days. After the registration is
completed, it will be published on the China Energy Efficiency
Labeling Network. Relevant information can be queried by the
registration number, manufacturer name or model.
