MYUAV's tethered drones are quietly changing the landscape of the industry with their original tethered power supply method.
Traditional drones are limited by battery power, and the endurance time is often short, about 30 minutes when unloaded, and only 10-15 minutes when fully loaded. In some long-time operation demand scenarios, it is not enough.
MYUAV's research team has developed a tethered power supply system. Simply put, through a high-strength high-voltage cable, the drone is connected to the ground power supply equipment, and a constant flow of electricity can be delivered to the drone, enabling it to hover in the air stably for a long time.
This type of power supply brings a brand new solution to many industries. In fields such as emergency rescue, exterior wall cleaning, and environmental monitoring, tethered drones can operate for long periods of time without interrupting critical missions due to lack of power.
In terms of technical realisation, the tethered cable is not a simple one. It has to ensure the efficient transmission of electrical energy, but also be flexible enough not to interfere too much with the flight manoeuvrability of the drone.
