Lightweight & Cost-Effective Copper-Aluminum Air Conditioner Connection Pipe
The copper-aluminum air conditioning connecting pipe is a pipe used
to connect the internal and external units of the air conditioner.
It is composed of a section of copper pipe and a section of
aluminum pipe through welding. It has the following characteristics
and advantages:
The copper pipe part of the copper-aluminum connecting pipe has
excellent high strength, high thermal conductivity, high corrosion
resistance, high sealing and other properties. It can be closely
connected with the brass parts of the internal and external units
of the air conditioner, so that the pipe sealing is fully
guaranteed. Copper has strong corrosion resistance and can resist
the erosion of many chemical substances, thereby avoiding problems
such as air leakage due to corrosion. At the same time, the high
thermal conductivity of copper tubes enables faster heat and cold
transfer, improving cooling and heating efficiency.
The aluminum pipe part of the copper-aluminum connecting pipe has the properties of light weight, low cost, and low environmental impact. The lower density of aluminum reduces the weight of the connecting pipe, reducing installation difficulty and cost. At the same time, aluminum is a recyclable metal, which is beneficial to environmental protection and sustainable development. The low cost of aluminum tubes also reduces the manufacturing cost of connecting tubes, thereby reducing the overall price of air conditioners.
The overall performance of the copper-aluminum connecting pipe is
also excellent. It has high thermal conductivity, high thermal
insulation effect, high cooling and heating efficiency and other
properties. It can improve the thermal insulation effect of the
connecting pipe, reduce the cooling capacity loss of the
refrigerant in the connecting pipe, and thereby improve the
efficiency of the air conditioner. Cooling and heating efficiency.
This kind of connecting pipe has a wide range of applications and
is suitable for various types of air conditioning equipment,
providing efficient, environmentally friendly and economical
cooling and heating solutions for homes and commercial places.
(1) The welding joints showed excellent results. Under strict
quality control, there were no defects such as pores, cracks, slag,
burrs, and burns. No fusion was found, and the oxide film was
clearly visible. Reduced, the hole with a diameter of Φ6.3 is
larger than 3.0mm.
(2) The air tightness test results were excellent. Under the
pressure of 4.0MPa, it was maintained for 5 minutes without any
leakage problems.
(3) After the air tightness was qualified, a pressure test was
conducted on the pipeline. After slowly increasing, it finally
reached a high pressure of 13MPa for 1 minute. The results were
satisfactory and there were no cracks in the pipeline.
(4) In the bending test, the sample was bent into a bending core
that was twice the nominal diameter of the pipe as required. After
completing the 180-degree bend, the pipe appeared smooth and
wrinkle-free, with no cracks, proving its excellent of flexibility
and durability.
(5) The tensile strength range is between 65-118mpa. The tensile
test is conducted on the side of the aluminum pipe, and the weld
length reaches more than 10mm. This indicator shows excellent
mechanical properties.
(6) In the KTG test, the copper-aluminum joint was melted tightly,
which played a good sealing role. At the same time, the fittings
shrank extremely well and would not rotate easily under pressure,
showing excellent sealing performance.

Q1: aluminum alloy pipe compared with copper pipe, advantages and disadvantages?
A1: Aluminum pipe cost low ductility, but easy to corrosion. Copper pipes have good thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance, but the installation, preservation and transportation are not easy and the cost is high.
Q2: What should be noted in the installation of the air conditioning connection pipe?
A2: The alloy pipe is easy to install, but the link of copper and aluminum after a long time of chemical changes, will cause electrocouple corrosion.
Q3: How to deal with the corrosion problem?
A3: Our products use special corrosion resistant alloy, and the corrosion resistance effect is greatly improved compared with ordinary aluminum alloy. The corrosion resistance experiment is> 1000 hours, which greatly improves the service life of the product.
Q 4: What state and performance of aluminum pipe and aluminum alloy pipe can be produced?
A 4: It can produce performance products from hard state to soft state and interval.
