4-Axis Machining Precision Steel Parts Stainless Steel CNC Milling CNC

Machining Products

Utilizing computer numerical control, or CNC, machining is a widely adopted manufacturing

technique that relies on automated, high-speed cutting tools to fashion designs from metal or

plastic stock. Common CNC machines include 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis milling machines, lathes,

and routers.

The manner in which CNC parts are cut can vary, with scenarios where the workpiece remains

fixed while the tool moves, the tool remains stationary while the workpiece is rotated and moved,

or both the cutting tool and workpiece move simultaneously.

Product Details

CNC machining machines exhibit the capability to cut a diverse range of materials, including

aluminum, bronze, copper, ceramics, plywood, various steel alloys, stone, wood, zinc, and other

engineering materials.

This versatility makes CNC machining an ideal choice for generating prototypes in product

development. It enables precise and rapid adjustments until achieving the desired end product.

Common Materials for CNC Machining
MaterialProperties
Aluminum2024: Good fatigue resistance and strength; excellent toughness at moderate to high strength levels; improved fracture toughness
6061: Excellent machinability, low cost, and versatility
7075: High strength, hardness, low weight, and heat tolerance
BrassVersatile and highly attractive copper/zinc alloy with warm yellow color accommodates severe forming/drawing
CopperHigh ductility and high electrical and thermal conductivity; develops attractive blue-green surface patina over time
Stainless SteelExcellent machinability and outstanding uniformity; good workability and weldability, high ductility and formability
Steel AlloyMix of chromium, molybdenum, and manganese yields toughness, good torsional and fatigue strength
Steel Mild Low CarbonHigh machinability and weldability, high stiffness; good mechanical properties, machinability, and weldability at low cost
TitaniumExcellent strength to weight ratio, used in aerospace, automotive, and medical industries
ABSExcellent impact resistance, good mechanical properties, susceptible to solvents
NylonExcellent mechanical properties, high toughness, poor moisture resistance
POMHigh stiffness, excellent thermal & electrical properties, relatively brittle

FAQ's

1. Do you offer Quick-Turn CNC Machining?

Indeed! Our Quick-Turn CNC Machining services provide fast lead times for parts, with many

available within 3-4 days. We also offer an expedite option, and our team is dedicated to working

closely with you to meet your most pressing deadlines.

2. How does you ensure the quality of my parts?

Upon confirmation of your order, a detailed Design for Manufacturing (DFM) review is carried out

to identify any potential issues affecting part quality. All incoming materials are meticulously

inspected and verified using a suite of testing equipment. Final inspection reports are generated as

part of our pre-shipment quality check.

Furthermore, we offer the option to share inspection data in real-time, enabling collaborative efforts

to address any quality concerns that may emerge during production.

3. What size of fillets are added when no specific fillet is specified by the 3D model or

drawing?

In cases where no specific fillet radius is specified in the 3D model or drawing, fillet radii will be

added by the machinist based on their judgment to enhance machining ease.

To ensure a desired fillet radius, specific details should be provided. For a general understanding,

internal vertical edge radii might surpass 1/3 of the depth, and internal horizontal edges may either

be maintained sharp or incorporate a radius within the range of 0.5mm to 1mm.

4. What industries do you typically work in? Who are your typical customers?

It's hard to find an industry we haven't collaborated with! Our clientele represents diverse sectors,

including heavy equipment manufacturing, general commercial enterprises, and businesses in

industrial, transportation, medical, and consumer domains, among others.

Our customer base extends across the United States, Europe, and beyond. What unites them is

a shared requirement for precision-machined parts delivered on time and within budget constraints.
