To ensure proper cleaning and maintenance of the equipment, please follow these guidelines:
Cleaning the sensor and connecting cable:
Use warm soapy water to clean the sensor and its connecting cable.
Ensure the soap is gentle and non-abrasive.
After cleaning, rinse thoroughly with water and allow them to dry
completely before use.
Cleaning the probe and cable:
Use a soft cloth moistened with either soapy water or 70% isopropyl
alcohol to clean the probe and cable.
Take care to avoid damaging the surface of the visual indicator and
the detector.
Allow the probe and cable to dry thoroughly before using them.
Avoid using abrasive agents or chemical products:
Refrain from using any abrasive agents or chemical products except
for 70% isopropyl alcohol.
These substances may damage the equipment and affect its
performance.
Avoid specific treatments:
Do not irradiate, autoclave, soak, or immerse the probe in any
solution.
These treatments can harm the probe and compromise its
functionality.
Keep the probe clean and dry at all times.
Average life expectancy:
Under the recommended conditions of use provided in the operating
instructions, the average life expectancy of a SpO2 sensor is
typically more than a year.
Adhering to the cleaning and maintenance guidelines outlined above
can help prolong the lifespan of the sensor.
It's important to follow these cleaning instructions to maintain
the equipment's performance and ensure accurate readings. If you
have any further questions or concerns, please consult the
operating instructions or contact our customer support for
assistance.
