Compared with thyristor , new generation IGBT transistor is able to
not only control conduction ,but also control its turn-off action
at will, however, the thyristor must be passively turned off and
requires time to finish this action. Inverter power factor of IGBT
transistor type is much higher (≥ 97%) and the furnace voltage much
higher under the same input voltage (380 V). The IGBT inverter
voltage is around 2800V, however, the traditional thyristor
inverter voltage is only 750V and can reach a maximum value of
800V, therefore, the inverter voltage of IGBT is four times higher
than that of the thyristor type, and wiring line loss is also low,
about 15% energy saving is achieved.
Thick raw material for the shell of furnace, reasonable match
between induction ring and capacitor, intelligent type digital main
control board, constant output and high efficiency power factor are
guarantee for quick melting speed.
