CNC Thread EDM Operation

1. Material Selection: Choose materials suitable for CNC thread EDM, typically involving conductive materials like steel, tungsten, or titanium.
2. Thread Electrode Selection: Select the appropriate thread electrode, often made of copper or graphite, with the desired thread profile and dimensions.
3. Workpiece Mounting: Securely hold the workpiece on the CNC thread EDM machine, ensuring proper alignment with the thread electrode.
4. CNC Setup: Configure the CNC machine by loading the relevant CNC program, setting tool offsets, work offsets, electrode parameters, and flushing rates.
5. Thread EDM Process: Activate the CNC machine to initiate electrical discharges between the thread electrode and the workpiece, eroding material and creating precise threads with accurate profiles, pitch, and depth as specified in the programmed instructions.
