Rail-mounted container gantry cranes, also called RMG cranes, provide an efficient and safe way of stacking large containers in ports and rail terminals. This particular gantry crane design plays a key role in facilitating yard operations due to its higher working load and fast travel speed. The cranes are available in a variety of capacities and sizes to suit different container capacities, with spans determined by the number of container rows that need to be spanned.

The crane is suitable for stacking 3-4 layers of 6-row wide containers in the yard.
