The flake ice machine is mainly composed of a compressor, expansion valve, condenser, and evaporator, forming a closed-loop refrigeration system. The evaporator of the ice machine is a vertically upright barrel structure, mainly composed of an ice cutter, a spindle, a sprinkler tray, and a water receiving tray. They rotate slowly counterclockwise driven by the gearbox. Water enters the water distribution tray from the inlet of the ice machine evaporator, and is evenly sprinkled onto the inner wall of the evaporator through the sprinkler tray, forming a water film; The water film exchanges heat with the refrigerant in the evaporator channel, causing a rapid decrease in temperature, forming a thin layer of ice on the inner wall of the evaporator. Under the compression of the ice knife, it breaks into pieces of ice and falls into the ice storage room through the ice drop port. Part of the water that has not formed ice flows back from the return port to the cold water tank through a water receiving tray, and enters the next cycle through a cold water circulation pump.
