### Troubleshooting and Maintenance for Barrier Gates
For common barrier gate malfunctions, you can try the following three methods to resolve them. If your barrier gate experiences issues beyond these, please contact us for after-sales support:
1. **Barrier Gate Fails to Raise or Lower**:
- **Troubleshooting**: Measure if the voltage is within the range
of 220V ±10V.
2. **Barrier Arm Positioning Issues or Excessive Vibration**:
- **Troubleshooting**: Check if the running switch magnet is
correctly adjusted and if the balance spring tension is too loose
or too tight.
- **Solution**: Adjust the position of the travel control and
tighten the spring link bolts.
3. **Unusual Noise in the Cabinet**:
- **Troubleshooting**: Inspect the bearings and the movable link
parts for abnormalities.
- **Solution**: Apply lubricant or replace the bearings.
### Common Barrier Gate Faults and Repair Methods
1. **Loose Coil Wiring**:
- **Issue**: When the ground sensor coil is not securely fixed in
its nest, vehicle vibrations can deform the coil, altering the
initial inductance. The sensor must reset to function correctly.
- **Solution**: Pour melted asphalt into the nest to secure the
coil.
2. **Loose Linkage Screws**:
- **Issue**: Linkage screws with opposite threads connect the upper
and lower bearings via a double-ended screw. Loose screws result in
inaccurate positioning.
- **Solution**: Insert an 80mm long, Ø4 iron rod into the
double-ended screw to adjust the barrier arm's position accurately.
3. **Loose Swing Arm Screws**:
- **Issue**: Loose screws cause inaccurate positioning and
excessive vibration of the barrier arm.
- **Solution**: Tighten the bolts and lock the nuts.
4. **Displaced Position Control Magnet**:
- **Issue**: The position control uses Hall effect elements. If the
rectangular magnet shifts from the cam disk on the reducer,
positioning becomes inaccurate.
- **Solution**: Adjust the magnet to its accurate position without
flipping it.
5. **Power Outage Protection Switch Activation**:
- **Issue**: If the control part malfunctions, the barrier gate's
automatic protection device activates, causing the barrier arm to
stop in an upward position. The main power disconnects, and the
machine stops working.
- **Solution**: Open the machine door and rotate the large belt
clockwise 3-8 times until the arm reaches the upper position. If
this fails, check the Hall elements and circuit board for faults.
6. **Loose Adjustment Nut on the Pull-Down Hook**:
- **Issue**: The pull-down hook in the lower part of the cabinet
adjusts the balance mechanism's zero-point. Loose nuts cause
knocking sounds and imbalance during operation.
- **Solution**: Tighten the M10 hex nuts and Ø10 spring washers to
restore balance and prevent additional load on the gearbox, motor,
and other transmission parts.
