Laminar Airflow Cabinets, also known as Biological Safety Cabinets
(BSCs) or Clean Benches, are specialized enclosures designed to
provide a controlled, contamination-free work environment.
Airflow Principle:
These cabinets use a laminar (smooth, unidirectional) airflow
pattern to create a clean air environment within the work area.
Air is drawn in through a HEPA (High-Efficiency Particulate Air)
filter and expelled in a smooth, parallel flow, minimizing
turbulence and eddies.
Classification:
Laminar Airflow Cabinets are classified into different types based
on their level of containment and protection:
Class I: Provide basic personnel protection
Class II: Provide personnel, product, and environmental protection
Class III: Provide the highest level of containment for work with
highly hazardous agents

Key Features:
HEPA filtration: The incoming air is filtered through a HEPA
filter, removing 99.97% of particles 0.3 microns or larger.

Laminar Flow Horizontal or Vertical Trolleys are used for the storage and the transfer of products that are sensitive to contamination, between two classified areas, generally separated by autoclaves. The trolleys are fitted with an independent power supply which keeps the laminar flow constant at any time.
