High Quality Picture PAL 1080i NIT Auto Detect Cable Box Video Recorder

Cable Box Video Recorder Description:

Digital Video Broadcasting Cable (DVB-C) is known as the digital multi-program television distribution

system by cable. The DVB-C transmission standard is based on the MPEG-2 system layer, with the

addition of appropriate forward error correction (FEC) technique. The system FEC is designed to improve

bit error ratio (BER) from 10-4 to a range, 10-10 to 10-11, ensuring quasi error free (QEF) operation with

approximately one uncorrected error event per transmission hour. DVB-C is based on quadrature amplitude

modulation (QAM) and it allows for 16, 32, 64, 128 or 256-QAM constellations.

FAQ:

1.Can I use a set-top box with satellite TV?

Most satellite receivers are totally dedicated to watching TV, very few are also multifunctional

devices also capable of playing media from a network but there are a few. The CPU in many

satellite receivers is not very powerful and they have very little memory, instead they have specific

cores for decoding audio and video. So they pretty mucg suck for doing much else. Also the

software for each receiver is quite custom, so running other applications is hard and operators

don't like people playing with them.

2.What are the different payment plans for a set-top box?

Outright purchase: This is the most common payment plan for set-top boxes. You pay the full

price of the set-top box upfront and own it outright.Monthly rental: Some service providers offer

a monthly rental option for set-top boxes. You pay a monthly fee to use the set-top box, but you

don't own it. This payment plan is often more affordable upfront, but may end up costing more

in the long run.Installment plan: Some brands and service providers offer an installment plan

where you can pay for the set-top box in installments over a period of time. This payment plan

may include interest or fees, so make sure to read the terms and conditions carefully before signing up.

Bundle plan: Some service providers offer a bundle plan where the set-top box is included as part.
