Shuttle kilns, also known as batch kilns or intermittent kilns,
should be your first choice if you're running a business
specialising in the rapid production of artisan pottery, tableware,
sanitary or cladding tiles, and heavy clay products. They can be
designed with capacities from 1m³ up to 400 m³. This means that a
commissioned shuttle kiln can be adapted to the precise volume of
work that you need to process and scaled up as appropriate with the
addition of further shuttle kilns as capacity increases. They're
typically less energy-efficient than a tunnel kiln; however, they
offer more flexibility for both product and firing cycles.

1. Intermittent production, suitable for multi-variety and
small-batch production.
2.The light-weight thin-walled kiln wall structure is adopted, and
the inner lining is made of high-temperature light-weight
materials.
3. Loading and unloading is carried out outside the kiln.
4. High-speed isothermal burners are adopted, arranged at different
heights, and high-speed airflow is ejected to make the airflow in
the kiln rotate strongly, and the convective heat transfer effect
is greatly improved. The temperature difference of each point in
the kiln can be controlled within 5 ℃ during the high-temperature
stage. In the low temperature stage, the temperature-adjusting air
is used to increase the amount of flue gas, and the temperature of
the flue gas sprayed into the kiln is adjusted, and the temperature
difference in the kiln is between 5 °C and 10 °C. The heating and
cooling speed is fast,and the firing cycle is short.
5. Appropriate inspection and control instruments can be
configured, and PLC control is adopted to realize fully automatic
operation.
