The SSMP(M)-JHD27-S is an ultra-small push-in RF coaxial connector designed for high-frequency applications. With a compact form factor and exceptional performance, it’s ideal for modular and densely packed installations.
Frequency Range: SSMP connectors operate in the frequency range
from DC up to 40 GHz (and can even go up to 65 GHz with certain
precision designs) 1. This makes them suitable for high-frequency
applications.
Impedance: SSMP connectors have a characteristic impedance of 50 Ω,
which is standard for RF and microwave systems.
Miniaturized Design: SSMP connectors are approximately 30% smaller
than traditional SMP connectors. This miniaturization improves
package density in RF/microwave systems, allowing for more complex
designs within a reduced form factor.
Blind-Mate Configuration: These connectors are designed for
blind-mate or push-on mating, making them ideal for quick and easy
installation without precise alignment.
MIL-PRF-39012 Compliance: SSMP connectors meet the MIL-PRF-39012
standard, ensuring their reliability and performance in demanding
environments.
Radial and Axial Misalignment Tolerance: SSMP connectors can
withstand both radial and axial misalignment. This feature allows
for multiple engagement and disengagement cycles without
compromising electrical performance.
Applications: SSMP connectors are commonly used in military and
high-grade commercial systems, including phased arrays, airborne
radar, active antennas, satellites, and various radar systems.
