Steel Bar
C276 alloy has excellent corrosion resistance to most corrosive media in oxidation and reduction states. Excellent resistance to point corrosion, crack corrosion and stress corrosion cracking. C276 alloy is suitable for a variety of chemical process equipment containing oxidizing or reducing media. The high content of molybdenum, chromium and low content of carbon make the alloy resistant to chloride ions, and the addition of tungsten further improves the corrosion resistance. C276 is one of the only materials that can resist the corrosion of moist chlorine, hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide solutions. The alloy has significant corrosion resistance to high concentrations of salt chloride solutions (such as ferric chloride and copper chloride).
