Difference Between Grade 304 And 316
201.202.304.316 is austenitic stainless steel; 410 belongs to martensitic stainless steel; 430 is a ferritic stainless steel.
The difference between austenite and martensite and ferrite is mainly reflected in the content of nickel. Austenitic steel contains high nickel and shows weak magnetism, while martensitic steel and ferritic steel contain almost no nickel or micro nickel, which has strong magnetism compared with austenitic steel.
