SUS304 refers to 304 stainless steel. Sus is a Japanese material standard, and 304 stainless steel is a brand of stainless steel produced according to American ASTM standards. 304 is equivalent to (0Cr18Ni9) stainless steel in China. Japan also quoted the name of the United States as SUS304.
Compared with Cr13 Stainless steel, it has high corrosion resistance, high plasticity and toughness at low temperature, room temperature and high temperature, and good cold forming and weldability. However, the strength at room temperature is low, the tendency of intergranular corrosion and stress corrosion is large, and the machinability is poor. Austenite has no phase transformation during heating, so it cannot be strengthened by heat treatment.
