About Vacuum Disc Dryer
The horizontal disc dryer is mainly composed of a fuselage, a hot
shaft, a transmission system, a rotary joint, etc. The hot shaft
composed of a disc and a rotating shaft is the core structure of
the horizontal disc dryer, and the inner flow passage of the hot
shaft is special and designed. Ingeniously, it is the main heat
transfer area; the extrusion and slack are generated during the
rotation of the hot shaft, so that the materials between the discs
are continuously updated, and the heat exchange efficiency is
greatly improved.
Features:
1) In the disc dryer, the hot shaft not only acts as a stirring or
a main heat transfer surface, but also heats both sides of the
disc, so the heat transfer area is large (80%~85% of the total heat
transfer area), and the structure is compact. Small size and high
thermal efficiency;
2) In the disc dryer, due to the stirring effect of the disc
blades, the heating surface of the disc is continuously updated and
the heat exchange is uniform;
3) In the disc dryer, the hot shaft is a low-speed stirring type
device, and the disc surface wear is small;
4) In the disc dryer, the material retention rate is high, and the
residence time can be arbitrarily selected from 30 minutes to
several hours.
