4. why should we choose a higher level power solar pump inverter
than motor pump?
1. If solar pump inverter works in high temperature above 40C, it
will be derated.
2. If motor pump is far away from inverter more than 100m, there
will be power loss and drop voltage on cables and output power will
be less and more harmonic, reactor is needed to reduce harmonics
and better protection on motor.
3. Oversized power can be more adjustable for pump as it can keep
stocks for better marketing which depend on real application for
example 15hp solar pump inverter can use for 10hp also 15hp if
distance is less and temperature is not high.
4. Some deep well pump is heavy duty and more heights and pump and
motor are not matched and motor is easily overloaded so inverter
should choose oversized power.
5. Oversized power has better heat ventilation and higher IGBT
capabilities.
