Description

Welding pin is a kind of high-strength rigid connection fasteners. Welding pins are cylindrical heads for arc stud welding, which is short for Cheese head studs for arc stud welding. The specifications of welding pins are nominal diameter Ф10～Ф25mm. The length is 40～300 mm. Welding pins have the manufacturer's identification mark made by embossing on the top surface of the head, and the welding pins have a wide range of uses.

Black oxidation treatment is a common method of chemical surface treatment. The principle is to produce an oxide film on the metal surface to isolate the air and achieve the purpose of rust prevention. Blackening treatment can be used when the appearance requirements are not high, and the surface of steel parts is blackened, which is also called bluing. Black oxidation treatment is a surface coating treatment method commonly used in military tools because it can eliminate reflections.

Advantages:

1. Corrosion resistance
The anti-corrosion performance depends on the post-treatment after blackening. The black oxide film can provide corrosion resistance equivalent to 144 hours of salt spray exposure. It is usually to provide an extended shelf life for stored parts before use, or for further surface treatment.

2. Stability
The Fe3O4 film will not significantly change the size of the part, and the original size will not change (the same as when painting or electroplating), which provides corrosion protection for parts with limited dimensions.

4. Wear resistance
Where parts need to be run-in, the wear-resistant surface can sacrifice the external lubricating layer during initial contact and wear, and at the same time form a work-hardened surface. The Mohs hardness of the oxide film itself is 5.5.
