Ion exchange technology (Ion exchange), or ion chromatography, is to exchange ions between two electrolytes, or to exchange between electrolytic solutions and complexes
There are two types of ion exchange, one is cation exchange, which refers to the exchange of positively charged ions; the other is anion exchange, which refers to the exchange of negatively charged ions. There are also amphoteric ion exchangers that allow simultaneous exchange of anions and cations. In the mixed bed, the exchange of anions and cations can be effectively carried out at the same time. Mixed beds consist of anion and cation exchange resins, or are produced by passing the treated solution through several different ion exchange materials

Installation Requirement: Productivity 6 m3
The installation should consist of 5 columns with a filter bed of a coal column, 2 cationic and 2 anionic and operate in the mode of 1 coal, 1 cation and 1 anion with the possibility of switching to work on other cation and anion columns, and the spent columns could at that time stand on regeneration.
Additionally:
- control is carried out by a conductivity sensor
- a backup pump for supplying water to the installation.
- Panel for adjusting the supply of HCl and NaOH during regeneration to the cation and anion.
- Place the unit on a metal frame painted with powder paint.
3. About DI system our suggestion
According client detail requirement we suggestion DM water plant/system process as below:

Normal before the coal there are one sand filter (The function of quartz sand filter is to filter the sediment in the water, and the rust impurities can to avoid coal column blocked)
Process as below: (You need Parallel two columns):
#1 Tap water tank(low level switch)----Feed pump----quarts sand column---- coal column------ cationic column-----anionic column---DM water tank(with full level switch) (Working)
#2 Tap water tank(low level switch)----Feed pump----quarts sand column---- coal column------ cationic column-----anionic column---DM water tank(with full level switch) ( Standard by or generation)
