Description
Self-Balancing type Horizontal Multistage Ring Section Stainless Steel Chemical Centrifugal Pump is specially design and constructed with corrosive-resistance material for the wet parts. With symmetrically arranged impeller rotor components, axial forces generated by all levels of symmetrical impellers forces offset each other and automatic balancing of huge axial thrust within pump cavity can be realized without the balance disc structure. It is designed to remove the mechanical balance drum, balance disc, balance socket and similar part, but achieve the balancing function by reverse circulation water pipe.
Such external bypass piping is designed for water flowing into the
end of the pump from the suction side, and then reversely flow back
to the discharge section in the middle, which makes the water
flowing from both sides of the discharge section.
It will balance the axial thrust caused by the high pressure
impeller from both sides and escape the mechanical wears out as
well as overloaded axial force of the traditional multistage pump,
and ensure the stability and endurability of the pumpset.
The Chemical Centrifugal Pumps are indispensable to chemical industrial projects and oil-similar liquid handling facilities. Sanchang has performed field tests in various industrial chemical projects and marine construction projects under severe conditions over many years, in collaboration with general contractors, and applied the obtained know-how to developing corrosive-resistant pumps.
This material is made by specially treating chromium cast iron.
Because its electric potential is slightly lower than that of the
shaft, the impeller corrodes gradually, which helps to prevent the
shaft from corroding. The impeller needs to be replaced every few
years to 10 years, depending on operating conditions. However, the
impeller costs far less than the shaft to replace. All the wetted
parts of this pump are made of titanium and resin, which provides
the highest corrosion resistance to corrosive liquid.
