Laser 3D Rapid Prototyping Service / Objective 3D Printer Prototype Service
What can i do for you ?
SLS(3D PRINTING) An additive rapid prototyping process, Selective
Laser Sintering (SLS) builds 3-dimensional parts from CAD data from
a range of powdered materials like polyamides, nylons, or metals.
Then a laser beam selectively heats and fuses (sinters)
two-dimensional cross-sections or layers as an additive process.
SLS provides a fast and easy way to create parts early in the
design cycle, but is also suitable for limited production runs.
The SLS process is fast and parts can be nested to maximize
economy, delivering a service far superior to traditional rapid
prototyping or pattern cutting processes.
The SLS process allows us to build parts in both engineering type
resins as well as disposable foundry waxes. The ability to produce
a variety of parts quickly and accurately has given our customers a
dramatic advantage in new product cycle times and overall
time-to-market.
The latest generation of Selective Laser Sintering machines has
given 3D-CAM an additional capability for generating patterns and
prototypes.
Plastic Injection Molded Parts & Tooling
silicone Mould All under one roof, our injection molding machinery
can handle a wide variety of resins and colorants, producing high
quality parts with incredibly quick turnaround.
Finishing types spacer
Tools are polished or textured depending on your end-use cosmetic
needs. SPI defined mold textures are applied to provide external
textures to meet your specific requirements.
The highly accurate texturing we can apply to mold surfaces greatly
enhances the appearance of parts. Texturing is done using a
photographic etching process that allows great flexibility in
pattern and design. With our expert staff assisting, you can choose
from thousands of existing patterns. You can also customize
textures by adjusting existing pattern size and depth, and
Misontech can also make custom patterns on request.
Mold Preparation for Texturingspacer
Mold surfaces are prepared to a 240-320 emery finish for most
texture applications. For textures and fine patterns with less
depth a 400-600 emery is used.
Texturing requires a series of draft angles to allow the mold to be
removed cleanly without destroying the textured finish. We leave
about 1.5° of draft for each .001” of pattern depth. Certain
textures have minimum draft angles that work best but adjusting the
depth of the pattern can reduce these if necessary.
CNC Machining Misontech’s Computerized Numerically Controlled (CNC)
machining centers create parts and molds to your exact
specifications direct from your CAD model. We can also work with
IGES, STEP, Parasolid, Native CAD, and other similar files.
These multiple-tool mills can be used to machine both plastic and
metal prototypes as well as aluminum or steel molds for plastic
injection-molded parts.
Total turnaround time is 3 to 6 days for parts, and 3 to 6 weeks
for molds depending on the project size and requirements. For
creating small, difficult shapes in metal tools, we have Electric
Discharge Machines (EDMs) that utilize an extremely accurate
electrode to burn away metal from the base to create cavities.
CNC machining is also used to produce steel or aluminum insert
tooling for MUD frame systems.
Investment Casting Investment casting (also called Lost Wax
Casting), is one of the oldest metal-forming techniques. The
castings allow the production of components with accuracy,
repeatability, versatility and integrity in a variety of metals and
high-performance alloys. The process uses a wax pattern invested in
a ceramic shell made with multiple dips in a ceramic slurry. When
the shell dries, it is baked causing the wax to melt away. Then
metal is poured into the empty shell. When the metal is solidified
and cooled, the shell is broken away.
