Product Details
40A 4 Pole 30mA Type B 10KA Residual Current RCD Circuit Breaker
Quick detail
Type B RCD in addition to normal AC, can detect high frequency AC
and pure DC earth leakage currents. Reducing the risk of fire and
or electrocution through automatic disconnection of the electrical
supply relies on the selection of the correct type of RCCB
EKL1-63B.

B class Tripping is ensured for sinusoidal AC residual currents pulsed DC
residual currents, alternating residual sinusoidal currents up to
1000Hz,pulsating direct residual currents and for smooth direct
residual currents, whether applied suddenly or increasing slowly. | ![]() They react to AC and pulsating DC fault current which reach 0 or
almost 0 within one time period of the mains frequency. | ![]() RCCB’s surge capacity. Not tripping at standardized 8/20 υs surge-current waves acc.to VDE
0432 Part 2 with surge current values of up to 250A. |
Application
- EV & PV installations
- Frequency converters
- UPS installations
- High-frequency power converters
- Building site power supply cabinets
- EKL1-63 Type B RCDs can detect sinusoidal AC, pulsating DC,
composite of multi-frequency as well as smooth DC residual
currents. In addition, tripping conditions are defined with
different frequencies from 50Hz to 1kHz. In an AC electrical
distribution network, a pure DC residual current can be mainly
generated from three-phase rectifying circuits, but also from some
specific single phase rectifiers.MIDA-80B Type B RCD are intended
to be used for loads with three-phase rectifier, such as variable
speed drives, PV system, EV charging station and medical equipment.
Function
- Type B Circuit Breaker Control electric circuits.
- Protect people against indirect contacts and additionalprotection
against direct contacts.
- Protect installations against fire hazard due to insulation
faults.Residual current circuit breakers are used in housing,
tertiarysector and industry Selection Detectable wave form

- Tripping sensitivity 30mA -additional protection against direct
contact EKL1-63B.
- Tripping time Instantaneous,It ensures instantaneous tripping
(without time- delay).
Construction and Feature
- Elegant appearance; cover and handle in arc shape make comfortable
operation.
- Contact position indicating window
- Transparent cover designed to carry label.
- In case of overload to protect circuit, RCCB handle trips and stays
at central position, which enables a quick solution to the faulty
line. The handle cannot stay in such position when operated
manually. Provides protection against earth fault/leakage current
and function of isolation.
- High short-circuit current withstand capacity EKL1-63B
- Applicable to terminal and pin/fork type busbar connection
- Equipped with fi nger protected connection terminals EKL1-63B RCCB
breaker
- Fire resistant plastic parts endures abnormal heating and strong
impact
- Automatically disconnect the circuit when earth fault/leakage
current occurs and exceeds the rated sensitivity. Independent of
power supply and line voltage, and free from external interference,
voltage fluctuation EKL1-63B single-pole RCCB with two current
paths; two-pole RCCB; three-pole RCCB; three-pole RCCB with four
current paths, four-pole RCCB Current Circuit Breaker
