Links High Temperature Fuse
Description
The thermal fuse is also called a temperature fuse, which is a
temperature sensing circuit cut-off device.
The thermal fuse can sense the overheat generated in the abnormal
operation of electrical and electronic products, thereby cutting
off the circuit to avoid fire. Commonly used in: electric hair
dryer, electric iron, rice cooker, electric stove, transformer,
electric motor, water dispenser, coffee maker, etc. The thermal
fuse cannot be used again after it is operated, and it only works
once at the melting temperature.

Application
suitable for overheating protection of electricians, electronic
equipment, household appliances and their components. Such as use
in hair dryers, electric cups, hot air guns, electric heaters,
electric kettles, heaters, electric frying pans, rice cookers,
induction cookers, disinfection cabinets, air conditioners,
refrigerator defrosters, hand dryers, popcorn machines, smart
toilets , High-end car heat sinks and other electrical appliances.
When the thermostat fails and other overheating, the thermal fuse
cuts off the circuit to protect the circuit from harmful
overheating.
Design
Each thermal fuse has its rated electrical and temperature
parameters, so it should work within the specified range of rated
parameters in application. These parameters include Tf (rated
operating temperature), Th or Tc (holding temperature), Tm
(limiting temperature) and rated current and voltage. For details,
see the parameters in the Rating table. When installing and
designing, it should be noted that the long-term continuous working
environment temperature of the thermal fuse should not exceed its
holding temperature (Th). In addition, the temperature of the
thermal fuse body will cause self-heating due to energization,
which is higher than the ambient temperature. Depending on the
installation method and installation location, the rising
temperature may be higher.
