What is a CCD in a camera?
Stands for "Charged Coupled Device." CCDs are sensors used in
digital cameras and video cameras to record still and moving
images. The CCD captures light and converts it to digital data that
is recorded by the camera. For this reason, a CCD is often
considered the digital version of film.
Raw materials are put into the machine from its material hopper on the top, vibrated by vibratiory feeder and sliding along material chute into the zone of observation in sorting chamber through sensors and background plate. Under the effect of lamps source, CCD sensor receives compound light from materials being sorted. According to the light intensity and color changes, make the system produce output signal and drive solenoid valve(ejector) to work, ejecting the discolor grain to reject chamber and good materials continue to fall into the finished accept chamber.

Color Sorter Core Technology:
1. The color high resolution CCD image acquisition system uses the
color CCD image acquisition system to realize the comprehensive
acquisition of the material red, green and blue color information.
The color sorter has the human eye's sense ability, the material
selection is more realistic and more in line with the requirements;
the higher resolution is up to 0.04 mm2, which can accurately
identify the fine defects and spots of raw materials. High
precision special lens ensures clear and accurate image.
2. Flexible and variable light source equipped with LED system with
heat dissipation, long life, low energy consumption and good
performance. Different raw materials require different spectral
lighting, and tailor the light source according to the needs of
customers.
3. The special image processing algorithm uses shape and color
combination algorithm according to material characteristics. For
complex color materials, the color space after HSV transformation
is more intuitive and precise.
4. Unique material trough equipped with special anodizing process
can ensure the output and make the product reach the international
level. It can be equipped with waterfall flat and narrow chute
channel, which can meet many kinds of material color selection.
5.High-quality solenoid valves use high-quality solenoid valves,
high frequency, long service life, very low gas consumption, to
ensure that the machine output is large, take-out ratio is low,

8.The selected material enters the machine from the top hopper,
slides down the channel through the vibration of the vibrator
device, accelerates the falling into the observation area of the
sorting room, and passes through the sensor and the background
plate. Under the action of light source, according to the intensity
and color change of light, the system generates output signal to
drive the solenoid valve to work and blow out the heterochromatic
particles into the waste cavity of the hopper, while the good
selected materials continue to fall into the finished cavity of the
hopper, so as to achieve the purpose of sorting.
