PREFABRICATED Vertical Flow Softwall Cleanroom
Vertical Flow Softwall Cleanroom is a cost-effective method of providing quality particulate control in a soft-walled enclosure. The 2 x 4 ft. tubular steel NEST TIGHT ceiling grid system allows the cleanroom to enclose a large span without center posts. This system provides a durable, cost-effective, easy-to-assemble cleanroom system. A variety of sizes and shapes are available to ensure a system that is matched to your individual needs. These vertical flow cleanrooms are USP 797 compliant.
The rooms are free-standing and require only the building floor to
support the NEST TIGHT ceiling grid system, HEPA filters, and
cleanroom lights. This tubular frame is held in place by steel
support legs to ensure a strong rigid structure. The entire frame
and leg support system is finished with a white cleanroom grade
baked enamel paint.

SOFTWALL CLEAN ROOM CONSTRUCTION
The portable cleanroom frame is constructed of high-strength 2”x2”
tubular steel with a white baked-enamel finish. The tubes are
bolted together to form the upper frame assembly to which the
tubular steel leg supports are attached. The modular cleanroom
frame is lightweight, to allow the frame and components to be
hand-lifted and assembled. One person can assemble the cleanroom,
but it is easier to do with two people. The tubular steel frame is
constructed to support the filters, lights, and blank panels. Tee
bar dividers seal the space between the filters, lights, and blank
panels.
SOFTWALL CLEANROOM CURTAINS
Standard portable cleanroom curtain is a clear 40 mil fire
retardant vinyl with 3M Dual Lock strips sewn along the top for
mounting. All standard cleanroom curtain dimension is 54 inches x
90 inches x 40 mils thick. The modular cleanroom curtains overlap
every 48”, which provides a 6” overlap, around the perimeter of the
cleanroom. To enter or exit the cleanroom, the curtains are simply
spread apart where they overlap. The cleanroom curtains
automatically reseal as the two halves come back together.
